Victory Continues To Elude Titans
 Pioneer won a victory, of sorts, in Thursday's football game against Santa Fe. The Titans held the Chiefs to under 40 points. Still, the final result went in the loss column for Pioneer. as Santa Fe won 19-7. The loss drops the Titans to 0-4 in the Del Rio Leagues; a record they share with El Rancho, which lost a 28-21decision to the Whittier Cardinals. Pioneer and El Rancho will face-off in next week's season finale to decide which team will end in last place.
Elsewhere around the League, La Serna handed the California Condors their second loss, eliminating any hope of a repeat by the defending champions. The new Champions will be determined next week, as La Serna and Santa Fe, both 4-0, take the field to settle the question.

Otila Valle-Quiroz (1961) is battling cancer and started chemo treatments. For those who don't know her: Otila was a Song Leader and very involved in Pioneer High School. She was also the Titan's first Football Queen. Otila returned to work at Pioneer for many years. We send her our prayers and good hopes and hope you will do the same.
